Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. Returns are not accepted for damaged, cleaned or otherwise altered products.

To start a return, you can contact us at bowlmuseum@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be shipped at your expense with full insurance. Damaged returns will not be accepted.

In over 20 years selling antique singing bowls online, I receive very few returns. The photos, sounds and descriptions tell you exactly what you are getting. Antiques are fragile and there is a risk of breaking every time they are shipped. I therefore discourage returns and never ship bowls "on approval." I do not ship bowls for you to test out or to see if they fit in with your other instruments. Please use the recordings for that purpose.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is damaged if there is any problem, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions

Digital products are non-refundable.

International orders cannot be shipped with insurance and are not returnable due to customs clearance and return damage risk. International customers must bear the full financial responsibility for damaged or lost shipments. Any international return due to non-delivery, customs rejection or other issue will be refunded less actual shipping and processing expenses once the return has been received. If no return is received, no refund can be issued. 

Exchanges

There are no exchanges. Every transaction is handled separately.


European Union 14 day cooling off period

We operate in the USA and do not follow EU rules, sorry. There is no cooling off period.


Refunds

You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Returns may be subject to fees to cover the real cost of shipping and transaction fees. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.
