Among the finest ever made

This is one of the bowl types I especially searched for, which I call the Special Engraved bowls for the intricate engravings done with great mastery. They all seem to have been made by the same workshop over at least 3 generations.

They are among the most beautifully crafted and clearest sounding singing bowls ever created. All of the examples here sound amazingly clear with long ringing, bell like tones. The harmonic overtones blend beautifully. Due to the thick shape, they have more clarity with less warble than most singing bowls.

They are equally beautifully engraved with some of the more intricate engravings on any antique. Under close inspection under magnification, multiple engraving patterns can be seen, made by several different tools. Rather than just decorative, I believe the engravings also helped finish the bowl as they align with the area where the metal was folded. Perhaps the makers believed it helped keep the seam from opening.
