The Earliest Large Singing Bowls
The Original
Large singing bowls
The early jambati, (Nepali for large singing bowl) were distincly different from the well known jambati. These earlier large bowls had a thicker construction, folded rim and very different tone.
With much heavier construction and wonderful attention to detail, they are more rustic in form but have wonderful attention to detail.
The heaviest oxidation has been found on bowls of this type, with the heavy crust of very old bronze. Even at their advanced age, they will be around for another thousand years.

Combining sound with wellness is amazing! My breathing, voice, movement and meditation training provides real breakthroughs and feels great. We use the bowls as a subtle part of the process.
From singing bowls to Tibetan Buddhism to travel, I have a lot to share. The blog will inform you about singing bowls and entertain you with my stories. New content added weekly.
